The Jefferson County Farm Bureau hosted its Ag Producers Resource Expo at the Jefferson County Joint Vocational School in Bloomingdale on Wednesday. Despite the frigid temperatures, more than 70 people from throughout the community attended the event. Breakout sessions were held including topics such as soil testing, farm planning, planning for the unexpected and small business start-ups. There were 12 farm-related vendors and ag resource businesses available to speak to those in attendance. Refreshments and door prizes were featured at the event.
