The Weirton Area Water Board reports that as of 11:40 a.m., today the boil order put into effect for businesses and residents on Steel Boulevard, Wares Drive, Summit Circle, 301 North 12th St., Owings Street, Thurman Avenue, North 11th Street, Franklin Avenue, Berry Lane, Elder Street, Inez Street, Oak Street, Mercer Street, Weirview Street, Fairview Street, Valley Place, Ridgeway Avenue, June Street, Elk Street, Sunset Street, Mahan Road, Titus Street, Locust Street, Diamond Street, Blanar Avenue, and Figueroe Street is being lifted.

The order was announced Thursday following repairs to a water line on North 12th Street.

Residents and businesses in the affected areas may resume using water without any restrictions or requirement to boil their water.
