Hancock and Brooke Young Professionals offer goal-setting workshop

WEIRTON — As part of its “Forging the Future” speaker series, the Hancock and Brooke Young Professionals will offer a goal-setting workshop, scheduled for 5:30 p.m., Jan. 23 at the Top of West Virginia Convention and Visitors Bureau offices.

Chris Drew, transformation coach at Oxygen for Teams, will present an interactive series of practical tools and ideas designed to help participants gain self-awareness and greater clarity to evaluate their priorities and determine the steps needed to reach their personal and professional goals.

Drew has spent 30 years helping to develop leaders in the United States, Germany, Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates, also providing training for numerous companies and organizations including NASA, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and Chick-fil-A.

The workshop will include two parts, with participants able to attend only for the first segment, or remain for the full evening to receive more in-depth training. A continuing education credit will be awarded to those who complete the course.

Doors for the session will open at 5 p.m. There is a $20 admission for non-Young Professionals members attending

“Forging Our Future” is designed to equip the next generation of community leaders with knowledge and skills to better prepare them for their careers and to make a positive impact in the Ohio Valley.
